(CNN) – People who receive money from the federal government only have a couple of weeks left to make sure to get it digitally.
The Treasury Department plans to stop issuing paper checks for most payments on Sept. 30, which includes social security beneficiaries.
This move is part of the Trump administration’s effort to fully modernize federal benefit payments, save money and fight financial fraud.
