(WFRV) – A Wisconsin woman has been sentenced to two years prison time for embezzling money from a federally funded organization—the school district she worked for.
According to a press release from the Western District of the Wisconsin US Attorney General’s Office, 47-year-old Danielle Mittermeyer of Conrath will serve two years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. As part of her sentence, Mittermeyer was ordered to pay $261,690 in restitution.
Mittermeyer pleaded guilty to the charge, paying the restitution before sentencing, on May 7.
