Information Collected

Information collected about you on this web site will be used to fulfill this order and other in-house business purposes, such as networking within the association, providing information on alerts and communication of education and meetings with members, regional groups and alliances.

Use of Data

The Financial and Retail Protection Association (FRPA) does not rent, sell, or share personal or company or agency information.  We do permit the sharing of names, organizations, company and agency information through its membership directory only to members. Third parties interested in membership information are not provided information about members except when legally required to do so or in the case of an emergency.


Security

FRPA values your business and is committed to doing everything possible to make our online application and invoicing secure. If you prefer to handle matters through the mail FRPA will make this accommodation including invoicing membership for dues.

Membership Duties:

As a member there is a responsibility to keep us updated on users who terminate or retire from your business or agency.  We also expect that you will not share and/or misuse the information provided by FRPA members and FRPA board, employees, participants, and agents and follow the disclaimers and requirement of being a member.  Failure to follow the guidelines may result in defending FRPA, FRPA members and participants including termination of membership by individual and/or organization, company or agency.

Handling of PI and Company Payment Data

FRPA will take care in handling all payment processing and information. FRPA contracts credit card and payment process through secure online processing and does not store account information (complete payment account numbers, expiration dates or CVV2 codes).  FRPA does retain a process to record payments and date of payment and membership expiration dates.  For more details, contact the Director of FRPA at info@frpafraudviewer.org

Please know that FRPA is not in the business nor does it sell or provide customer's e-mail address or personal information of its members or participants.


Electronic Communications

When you visit www.frpafraudviewer.org or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Your Company/Agency Account Information

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. FRPA does not sell products or services for children, but it sells them to adults, who can purchase with a credit card. If you are under 18, we will evaluate the reason you would want access to the web site and would require adult supervision to use the site. The may come through internship and police explorer program (same or similar programs). In such cases further training and written understandings will be required to be on file with FRPA with co-sponsors signature(s) for accountability.

Privacy Policy

We appreciate the trust you place in FRPA and we are committed to respecting your privacy and the security of your personal information. When you use the services the FRPA  offers at its website, we're committed to your security and privacy. Any information we collect at FRPA is used for the express purpose of making your future visits more worthwhile and stopping crimes of a financial nature and catching those who commit such crimes.

Data Breach

FRPA will notify members of any data breached as well as regulatory agencies as required.  FRPA will make efforts to determine what was breached, who, when, who and take appropriate action to reduce or eliminate further data breaches and pursue parties responsible for the data breach under the law.  Members are also required to notify FRPA of any data breaches their company, computer, agency, or personal devices have had and requires members to immediately change access codes or to turn off their access to the FRPA services.

Memberships Questionable Activity

FRPA uses its own internal procedure to verify membership to FRPA data.  This includes law enforcement as well.  Verification will be done prior to allowing anyone access to the site.  If we notice unusual member activity, FRPA may block member access and contact the member to determine reason for questionable activity.
