Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in New Hampton, IA, for a Farm Director. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering agriculture-focused content across our radio and digital platforms (KCZE (The Bull), KCHA FM/AM). This includes gathering and reporting on local and regional ag news, conducting interviews with farmers and industry professionals, and creating content that is informative, timely, and relevant to our audience. You’ll contribute on-air updates as needed, maintain strong relationships within the agricultural community, and represent the station at local events. You’ll also collaborate with the broader team to ensure consistent, high-quality programming while helping expand our digital presence. Qualifications • Strong knowledge of agriculture and the local farming community • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and engagingly • Interest in radio or media; on-air, previous experience is not required • Ability to build relationships and conduct interviews with farmers and ag professionals • Digital skills (social media, content creation, or basic audio/video editing) preferred • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced news environment • Self-starter with strong organizational skills Competitive pay based on experience.
