Marion County Coroner's Office Eclipse Planned Closure
The Marion County Coroner’s Office will be closed on Monday April 8, 2024. Decedents will be released from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The agency will re-open on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. for releases.

On April 8, 2024, at 3:06 pm, a total solar eclipse will be completely visible throughout the continental United States. The sun, moon, and earth will align.
