Lori Sheeler is a licensed funeral director and the General Manager of St. Pierre Funeral Services in Indianapolis.
Originally from LaPorte, IN, Lori received a B.S. in Biology at Purdue University and worked in a pathology and microbiology laboratory prior to going to mortuary school. She graduated in 2005 from Worsham College of Mortuary Science and served her internship in Charleston, SC, where she lived with her family for over 14 years.
Lori has worked for both small independently owned funeral homes as well as large a corporate funeral home over her career and has performed nearly every position in the funeral business from embalmer to preneed sales to becoming the Director of Operations.
She earned her Certified Funeral Service Practitioner certification with The Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice in 2016. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association Leadership and Development Committee, and a member of the Ivy Tech Mortuary Science Advisory Board. Lori was most recently the Vice-Chairman of the Indiana Funeral Education Foundation Board of Directors until she became the new District 7 Director. Lori has also volunteered with The Office of Civilian Volunteers Medical Reserve Corps as a Regional and National Deployment Cadre Member and Mortuary Specialist.
Lori and her husband, Adam, have been married for over 28 years and have two daughters, two granddaughters, a grandson and two very spoiled dogs.
