Zeina Veyisoglu currently serves as IME’s Director of Communications and Marketing where she is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communications, branding, and marketing strategies that support IME’s mission, visibility, advocacy efforts, and member engagement.
Prior to joining IME, Zeina served as a Branch Chief within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Chemical Security Program, where she played a key leadership role in safeguarding critical infrastructure. She began her federal career with the Department of Homeland Security, supporting the Infrastructure Security Division and later helping to lead the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Program.
A Northern Virginia native, Zeina holds an MBA from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree from George Mason University. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with her family wandering through Old Town Alexandria and searching for the best local spots.
