Vulcan Seals is one of the world’s leading component mechanical seal manufacturers & FEP/PFA Encapsulated O rings and other sealing profiles, with over five hundred staff across six production sites and global distribution centres.

Founded in 1986 by Gerry Quinn (now Group Chairman), Vulcan continues to rapidly grow through exceptional investment in material and design development, vertically integrated, advanced, modern factories with primarily automated manufacturing machinery, and electronically controlled extensive stock-holding, logistics and distribution.

Vulcan offers a unique proposition based on Quality, Service and Value. Vulcan Seals Inc (ISO 9001: 2015) now has sales offices, stocking and operational capabilities in both Minneapolis (MN) and Houston (TX).  99%+ of US sales are sold from stock. Our stocking facilities are held on three Continents, with a comprehensive range of seal types, sizes (metric and imperial), seal face materials and elastomers.  That means very short lead times and consistently high On-Time Delivery achievements. We also design and manufacture non-standard seals for specific equipment applications based on pump types, models and OEM part numbers. Our complete range includes FEP/PFA Encapsulated ‘O’-Rings, Gland packing and expanded PTFE all with a stock guarantee on standard items. Guaranteed stock is available on over 100,000 product lines with same day dispatch.

The Vulcan global workforce comprises many staff that joined Gerry right at the beginning. That means many years' experience across a wide range of functions including production, technical and quality assurance. Nigel Fitton (Vulcan US VP) has over 2 decades of experience working in senior roles at both OEM and Distribution businesses on a global scale into a truly wide and varied range of application sectors.
