At Byron, it’s not just bingo. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and compassionate Part-Time Life Enrichment Specialist who enjoys building meaningful connections with residents while working as part of a collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, engaging, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for older adults.

What You’ll Do

Help plan and organize activities, events, and parties that promote engagement and healthy lifestyles
Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities, games, crafts, spiritual programs, and social events
Coordinate and assist with outings including trips to the zoo, TinCaps games, festivals, parks, restaurants, and more
Support residents from a diverse and multi-generational population through meaningful interaction and engagement
Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining care plans and assessments
Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and vibrant resident experience
Work one evening shift per week and participate in a weekend rotation

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience required
Must be at least 25 years old
Comfortable driving residents in a 15-passenger bus
Previous experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or customer service is preferred but not required
