This program will continue LeadingAge Ohio's emphasis on providing tools for managers in the aging services
sector. From providing an opportunity for participants to experience a poverty simulation to engaging on specific tools deployed by providers across the state, attendees will leave better equipped to navigate today's workforce challenges.

Frontline workers are the heart and soul of the post-acute care workforce and it is getting more difficult to find and retain these compassionate individuals. Join human resource experts as they identify specific challenges in frontline positions using Great Places to Work data, describe what individuals in these positions desire, yet find missing from their work, then explore successful strategies for recruiting and retaining these positions.

A facilitated simulation of the challenges of frontline caregivers. Poverty encompasses more than a lack of financial resources. It affects the very core of many of our employees lives, causing challenges that make it  difficult to thrive not only at work, but at home and in the community at large. This renowned  poverty simulation experience will provide an opportunity for our LeadingAge Ohio member attendees to deepen their understanding of the breadth of challenges our employees face.

In this session you will hear first-hand experiences from LeadingAge Ohio members who have successfully deployed tools for retention.  Learn how to use data and access tools to successfully recruit and retain frontline workers.
