On August 22, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced a new initiative which would make survey and certification results for the past decade readily available online. The initiative is intended to facilitate transparency in the public programs, and builds on data previously accessible via the CMS Survey and Certification Providing Data Quickly (PDQ) system, improving the ease with which information can be accessed.
CMS has removed requirements for user accounts to access the data and created a new Quality and Certification Oversight Reports (QCOR) website, now available here.
The following table, developed by the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) outlines a number of the data reports that are available on the new site. These may be sorted by time interval, provider characteristics, accrediting entity, location and deficiency level/tag:
The site, titled the Quality and Certification Oversight Reports Website (QCOR), was announced via a S&C Memorandum to State Survey Agency Directors.
