LeadingAge Ohio to join Ohio Chamber of Commerce

As LeadingAge Ohio continues its work to advocate on behalf of its mission-driven and nonprofit aging services members, LeadingAge Ohio felt it was crucial that its members, who represent an over $3B piece of Ohio’s economy, have a strong voice within Ohio’s business community.

At the end of 2021, LeadingAge Ohio made the decision to join the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to ensure that the state’s leading business advocate and resource had the voice of Ohio’s aging continuum within its membership and on its committees. In 2022, LeadingAge Ohio will engage with the Chamber as a member of its Health Policy Committee, providing feedback on behalf of LeadingAge Ohio’s membership and guiding the Chamber’s health policy priorities. We look forward to working with the Chamber and new President/CEO and former central Ohio Congressman Steve Stivers, who has communicated a desire to take a deeper look at health policy and long-term goals that benefit older adults, the workforce, and employers within the sector.
