Ohio Department of Aging Closes Out 2025 With Expanded Tools and Programs

The Ohio Department of Aging capped 2025 with several milestones that matter for providers and older Ohioans alike, including the launch of an expanded Ohio Long-Term Care Quality Navigator that now includes assisted living communities alongside nursing homes. The year also marked the first official state Older Ohioans Month, new counties gaining access to the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and statewide listening sessions to inform Ohio’s 2027–2030 State Plan on Aging.

Additional highlights included the Healthy Aging Expo at the Ohio State Fair, recognition of the 2025 Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame, creation of the Ohio Residents’ Rights Council, and record participation in the 10 Million Steps to Prevent Falls campaign. A full recap is available in the Ohio Department of Aging’s Year in Review 2025.
