Otterbein SeniorLife’s Jill Wilson Named 2026 LeadingAge Award of Honor Recipient
Jill Wilson, president and CEO of LeadingAge Ohio member Otterbein SeniorLife, has been named the 2026 recipient of the LeadingAge Award of Honor — the association’s highest individual recognition, presented each year to one member from across its nationwide membership. The award recognizes leadership, vision and contributions that have had a significant impact on aging services both within an organization and across the field. Wilson, a past chair of LeadingAge Ohio, has led Otterbein SeniorLife as president and CEO since 2009, overseeing its growth into a multistate nonprofit organization serving more than 10,000 people annually across 23 locations in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
Wilson’s career with Otterbein began during a nursing home administrator-in-training program, an experience she credits with changing the direction of her career and her understanding of leadership. Since then, her work has extended well beyond Otterbein through service to organizations across Ohio and the national aging services field. Wilson will receive the Award of Honor Oct. 27 during the 2026 LeadingAge Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. In reflecting on the opportunities ahead for aging services, Wilson told LeadingAge, “The best part of senior living is before us right now.” Read LeadingAge’s announcement about Jill Wilson and the 2026 Award of Honor.
