CMS Issues Additional Guidance on Risk-Based Surveys

As state survey agencies implement the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) nationwide Risk-Based Survey process, CMS continues to issue clarifications and additional guidance. The latest updates address procedures surveyors should follow when issues arise during a Risk-Based Survey.
