The Auto Care Association announced the addition of a new community to its membership with the introduction of the Automotive Communications Council (ACC). The ACC engages marketing and communications professionals in the automotive aftermarket, providing a forum for learning and professional development through idea sharing, collaboration and networking. The group is the oldest continuously operating council in the automotive aftermarket and joins 10 existing Auto Care Association communities representing key segments of the automotive aftermarket.
Auto Care Association communities are distinct groups of companies or individuals defined by a common business function, product line, demographic trait or professional focus. These communities foster collaboration among members who share similar goals and expertise, allowing their unique insights to directly contribute to the association’s mission of advancing the entire auto care industry.
This integration marks a step forward in uniting the expertise, creativity and leadership of ACC’s members with the resources and reach of the Auto Care Association, the organization said.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Automotive Communications Council into the Auto Care Association family,” said Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of the Auto Care Association. “ACC’s legacy of advancing marketing and communications excellence in the aftermarket makes them a natural fit as a community within our association. Together, we will strengthen opportunities for members to connect, learn and lead.”
The addition of the ACC provides expanded opportunities for Auto Care Association members to connect with marketing and communications professionals from across the aftermarket. Through the ACC’s programs, members can share best practices, access professional development resources and strengthen communication strategies that help drive the industry forward.
“The Automotive Communications Council is excited to join the Auto Care Association as its newest community,” said Leyla Saad, chair, ACC. “For more than 80 years, the ACC has brought together marketing and communications leaders from across the aftermarket. Partnering with Auto Care enables us to broaden our reach, enhance our resources, and provide even more value to our members and the industry at large.”
