The MDPH Office of Local and Regional Health is funding another round of the Housing Refresher training with the Massachusetts Health Officers Association as the training organizer. A brief application process will be used to allocate limited spots. Please read through the details carefully and complete the application below.
MA PHIT Housing Refresher is strategically designed to provide an overview of the updates to the Massachusetts Housing Code, and refresh participants' knowledge of conducting housing inspections. This program aims to assist LPH professionals in preparing to meet field training requirements for housing.
Please note - this course is ONLY for people who previously completed the classroom portion of MA PHIT Housing and have not yet completed the field training portion. DO NOT apply if you haven't participated in the MA PHIT Housing classroom course or if you previously received a certificate of completion for MA PHIT Housing.
Virtual sessions will run on April 23 (part 1) and April 25 (part 2) from 9 am to 12 noon.
Participants must attend both days. This is an interactive course that is not suitable for attending by phone. A computer with a camera and microphone are required for active participation.
