Dear Local Public Health Colleague,
Background: Since the release of the Blueprint for Public Health Excellence in 2019, the Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH) has worked tirelessly toward advancing its six interlocking recommendations. One of these recommendations is to create a unified, integrated data system that successfully collects, analyzes, shares, and utilizes data between the state and local public health, enhances equity in the delivery of public health services, and meets emerging data modernization standards. The Ask: As OLRH embarks on developing the Local Public Health (LPH) Data Solution, we want to ensure that local public health is involved at every step, from development to deployment.
