The Public Health Museum - Local Public Health Forum

When: Friday, April 11, 2025, 10 AM to 12 PM
The Public Health Museum will sponsor a Local Public Health Forum on the topic of the public and local public health in celebration of National Public Health Week. It will be a virtual event on Zoom, moderated by Professor Harold Cox of the Boston University School of Public Health. A panel of local public health professionals, including MHOA President Tim McDonald, will discuss the challenges local boards of health and public health agencies face in providing a wide variety of services, meeting responsibilities and facing unanticipated threats. The forum is co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Health Officers Association, the Massachusetts Environmental Health Association, the Massachusetts Association of Health Boards and the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses.
