NACCHO, with support from CDC, announces a funding opportunity to strengthen overdose prevention at the intersection of public health and public safety. Through the RHAPSODI Project, up to 15 applicants will receive awards to build evidence-based strategies that reduce overdose deaths via the Overdose Response Strategy. Funding includes Planning Awards (up to $50,000) for project development and Implementation Awards (up to $120,000) for executing activities with engaged partners. Applicants should prioritize public health approaches driven by local needs, community partnerships, and engagement of those most impacted by overdose. Apply by January 5, 2026.
