Dear Local Public Health Professionals,
The interest form for the Fall 2026 Tier 2 sessions of The Massachusetts Retail Food Inspection Program and the Massachusetts Housing Inspection Training Program is now open. As a reminder, Tier 2 is the instructor-led classroom portion of the training programs and is facilitated in a hybrid format, requiring attendance in both virtual and in-person sessions.
If you are interested in participating in either of the Fall 2026 Tier 2 offerings, please complete the Tier 2 Interest Form by August 27, 2026.
Tier 2 Interest Form: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/019fadda5ba0776896d3449132da16e9
Due to the high number of eligible participants who have completed Tier 1, demand is expected to exceed available seats. Submitting this form does not guarantee placement in the Fall 2026 courses. If there are more qualified participants than seats available, a lottery system will be used to select Tier 2 seat placement. Notifications regarding Tier 2 placement will be sent out in early September.
