Dear $$First Name$$:

Last month you got to know your mentor/mentee/peer on a professional and personal level. This month you will be discussing your career paths and setting some goals to achieve by the end of the mentorship program. This can be a critical time in your mentorship relationship. Try your best to keep up the momentum and excitement from the onboarding process and your first meeting. Good luck!

Best Regards,

Sarah B Gregg

May Check in Webinars
We will be holding brief check-in meetings on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021. These are not required, but may be helpful for some participants. This can be a crucial point for some mentorship relationships—after the “getting to know you” phase and leading into where the real progress happens with individual goals. This will give you a chance to gauge your progress and collect tips for getting to the next point.

To RSVP, email Sarah Gregg.

This Month’s Meeting
Read through the suggested topics worksheet before your meeting. You may also refer to this during your conversation.

Month Two Topics Worksheet

Career Development Goals Form
Most mentees and peer participants completed this worksheet with their managers during the registration process. Please review the form together with your mentor/peer.

Set Goals
Set 2-3 measurable goals you wish to accomplish by the end of the mentorship program. Be specific. You will refer back to these goals each month.

Communication Tips
During the registration process you each completed a communication style assessment which was used to pair you with someone you were likely to mesh well with. I encourage you to learn more about David Mitchell’s system by accessing the resources below.

Next Month
In June you will be discussing topics related to specific categories highly relevant to the natural stone industry. Don’t forget to schedule your next meeting before you end your May conversation.
