Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (and BCN) have announced a MAJOR change to their “Indirect” or
what they are now calling “Incident-To” billing.

As we try to understand this change together, MMBA
wants to offer this timely 90 minute session to discuss what we know today. The initial deadline of
September 1, 2026 for some changes is fast approaching and many practices need to plan for that date.

Join Zone 3's Stacie Saylor, CPC, CPB and Jill Young, CEMC, CPC, CEMC, CIMC, board members for the MMBA for
this interactive session. After a brief presentation, these industry experts will open it up for questions.

Please note, MMBA is not indicating that they know all the answers to questions about this major
change for BCBSM services. Rather, the presenters are offering this as an education opportunity to
present what we know and to have a peer-to-peer discussion about it so offices can be informed and
prepare.

to MMBA members for free and others for a fee. This will audioconference will not be recorded.
