SPEAKER: Mickey Putman, Owner, Central Professional Credit Services
Mick will talk to us about gathering proper information from the very beginning of the patient’s visit, explaining how to gather information properly and correctly, making the billing process much smoother. He will also touch on better ways to handle the “grumpy” patient.
Medicaid Updates
SPEAKER: Amanda Phillips, Provider Consultant
Amanda Phillips will be presenting news and updates from the Provider Outreach and Education Services of MDHHS/Michigan Medicaid. She will review CHAMPS functionality, claims correction and other professional billing updates. The new Behavior Health Initiative will be reviewed as well as updates to Provider Enrollment.
This program has the prior approval of AAPC for 3 continuing education hours. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by AAPC of the program content or the program sponsor.
Members are free. Non-Member fee is $50.00. Non-Member fees are non-refundable. Members may be subject to a $15 cancellation/no show fee if you do not cancel your reservation at (855) 360-3401, 48 hours before the event.
