With the ever-changing, technological world we live in, and the push for online HPI, information sharing is as easy as it has ever been! However, this amazing technology does come with drawbacks and information we as medical office staff NEED to know about to ensure patient information safety.

Hackers are prevalent and do you know if have the measures in place to be HIPAA compliant and protected? Bring your thinking cap and all your keys as we begin to unlock the importance around data protection, internet security, and how you can be mindful of your office's security measures. Keep your office staff, and your patient information protected with these helpful, hands-on presentations.

Description: Rich’s presentation will highlight the importance of internet security.  In the current Tech Environment, it is more important than ever to protect your electronic information.   Rich will discuss the importance of internet security and will educate us in ways to be proactive. 


Speaker: Loretta Wingard - "HIPAA Back to the Basics"

Description: Let’s review the basics of HIPAA.  Speaking of security, is your practice HIPAA compliant.  Loretta will get us back to the basics to keep our practices HIPAA compliant. 


Speaker: Wendy Weckstein, P.T., M.eD

Description: Now that we have secured our electronic information and become HIPAA compliant what are we doing to protect our well-being? Wendy will guide us through the practice of Mindfulness. We will learn the benefits of Mindfulness to destress.
