Session One Description: Title: "MDM vs Time" This session will cover E/M billing based both on medical decision making and time-based billing. It will be broken down by each element; Complexity of problems addressed, Data to be reviewed/analyzed and Risk morbidity and mortality. |

Session Two Description: Title: "Understanding NCCI: Beyond the Table" In this presentation, we will start by reviewing the basics of what NCCI is, moving into the types of edits, defining the NCCI indicators, when modifiers may be used and what modifiers affect the edits. Attendees will also learn how to locate the NCCI files. We will also discuss the MUE files, which are a part of the NCCI initiative, learn how these edits work and when they can be appealed. Finally, we will review some key concepts in the NCCI guidelines, all while trying to add humor to an often-dry subject. |

We’ll talk about the guidelines, where they are, what they mean, and how they can affect your practice reimbursement. We will also go over many other resources available to you to keep you and your practice compliant.
