Karmanos Cancer Institute’s 11th Annual State of the Art Treatment of Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium is October 1, 2016, at the Somerset Inn in Troy.
Our keynote speaker is Bert H. O’Neil, M.D. will present, “Rapid Evolution of Treating Colorectal Cancers.” Dr.O’Neil is a Cusick Professor of Oncology as well as Director of Phase I and GI Oncology Programs at Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Simon Cancer Center.
Additional faculty members are Mark M. Zalupski, MD from University of Michigan as well as faculty from Wayne State University and Karmanos Cancer Institute including Jeffrey Critchfield, MD; David Debono, MD; Kartikkumar Jinjuvadia, MD, MPH; Steve Kim, MD; Philip A. Philip, MD, PhD, FRCP; Anthony F. Shields, MD, PhD.; Smit Singla, MD, MRCS (Edinburgh), MSc and Nitin Vaishampayan, MD.
The symposium is from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. The Somerset Inn is located at 2601 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084.
