CORRECTION: Reimbursement for Modifiers SA and SB
This article corrects information we ran in January 2025.

This update applies to both our commercial and Medicare members.

In our January edition of OLU, we indicated that, effective April 1, 2025, we would pay eligible services at 85% of allowed for modifiers SA (nurse practitioner) and SB (nurse midwife).

We will not be moving ahead with that change, and we apologize for the confusion.
