BCBSM Clinical Pathways and MOQC Biannual Conference

Friday, June 15th; 11:30 – 4 p.m., at the Dearborn Inn Michigan Oncology Clinical Treatment Pathways and Michigan Oncology Quality Consortium (MOQC) will be hosting their biannual conference: The Quality Imperative: How to Identify and Implement Best Practices.  Bruce Hillner, MD, professor of Internal Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University and co- author of the New England Journal of Medicine article: Bending the Cost Curve in Cancer Care will be the keynote speaker.  In addition, the program will include the results of the MOQC Palliative Care Demonstration Project with distribution of resources for implementation at oncology practices. This program is designed for participation by physicians, nurses, pharmacists, office managers and others who work in oncology practices.

Attendance at this meeting meets the annual meeting requirements for BCBSM PGIP participants in MOQC and the Michigan Oncology Clinical Treatment Pathways programs.  Funding for the program is provided by BCBSM.  No registration fee is required.  Lunch is provided.
