MSHO is pleased to announce a new initiative and invite submissions for our inaugural Call for Research. This effort reflects our continued commitment to advancing equitable cancer care and strengthening advocacy for patients across Michigan.
At MSHO, we believe that transformative cancer care begins with research that is inclusive, community-driven, and responsive to the real-world challenges faced by patients and providers. Through this call, we aim to support research that identifies barriers to care and clinical trial participation and offers actionable solutions that can improve outcomes statewide.
Priority Areas of Interest include:
Proposals should align with MSHO’s guiding principles of empowering patient voices, fostering collaboration across sectors, leveraging data to inform advocacy, and creating sustainable, scalable impact.
We encourage submissions from investigators across MSHO member academic institutions, community practices, and partner organizations who share a commitment to improving access and equity in cancer care.
