There is Still Time to Submit Your MSHO Research RFP by June 1

There’s still time to bring your research idea forward—submit your proposal for MSHO’s Research RFP by June 1.

At MSHO, we believe that transformative cancer care begins with research that is inclusive, community-driven, and responsive to the real-world challenges faced by patients and providers. Through this call, we aim to support research that identifies barriers to care and clinical trial participation and offers actionable solutions that can improve outcomes statewide.

 Priority Areas of Interest include:

• Addressing barriers to cancer care in rural and underserved communities, including access to diagnostics, treatment, navigation, and supportive services
  
  
• Addressing barriers to clinical trial enrollment across Michigan, with a focus on disparities in awareness, eligibility, and participation, and strategies to expand access in community oncology settings

Proposals should align with MSHO’s guiding principles of empowering patient voices, fostering collaboration across sectors, leveraging data to inform advocacy, and creating sustainable, scalable impact.

We encourage submissions from investigators across MSHO member academic institutions, community practices, and partner organizations who share a commitment to improving access and equity in cancer care.

Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026
