Lunch Program - Noon to 1pm

This event features a 3-member panel discussion focusing on site selection at the national, greater Ohio and Central Ohio levels.

Panelists include Don Schjeldahl, nationally recognized site selector with The Austin Company out of Cleveland; Nate Green, former division chief at the Ohio Department of Development and now on the senior staff at JobsOhio; and Columbus-based Bill LaFayette, Ph.D., regional economist.

This panel, moderated by Bob White, Jr., President, The Daimler Group, will discuss site selection from the perspectives of corporate clients (seeking new locations) and public economic development agencies (wanting to lure those new locations).  Site attributes (incl. curb appeal and “shovel readiness”), local economic health, workforce availability, and incentives will all feature in this dynamic conversation.
