Who among us hasn’t daydreamed about exploring a “side hustle” outside of our full-time job in the commercial real estate world? Or picked up a new passion later in life that didn’t exactly fit with your established career path?

Join us on April 13 to hear from four of your peers in Orlando CRE who’ve built successful “side hustle” investments or businesses, and how they found the time, energy and perseverance to make it happen.

Panelists:

	*Jessica Kendrick* Founder & Managing Attorney at Kendrick Law Group A veteran business and real estate attorney and founder of Kendrick Law Group, Jessica’s primary side hustle has been launching multiple niche title and closing companies that are strategically linked with real estate brokerage firms. She also invests on the side in commercial real estate.
	*Helen Martinez* President at Black Elk Group LLC A former real estate attorney with Greenberg Traurig and corporate counsel with CNL Financial here in Orlando, Helen now runs her own boutique real estate development and investment firm. A self-described jack of all trades and fashion lover, Helen had a creative itch that couldn’t be scratched by the real estate world. So as a side hustle she started WKND WYFR (Weekend Wayfarer), a contemporary accessories brand offering high-quality bags, clutches, sunglasses and more.
	*Doug Storer* Director of Business Strategies at Hoar Construction A veteran business development pro for local construction firms, in 2013 Doug and his wife invented, patented and brought to market the Night Runner (Night Tech Gear) shoe lights. They appeared on “Shark Tank,” hit it big with the running community, and now have a very successful family business.
	*Luke Wickham* Senior Managing Director with Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) Well before Luke got into local CRE brokerage and developed his market-leading niche in multifamily, he was teaching himself how to invest on the side in fixer-upper residential and retail properties. Luke will tell you about how he spent every dime of his early Applebee’s paychecks on those first few investments!
