Members of NAIOP CFL are invited to a VIP tour of SIMCOM Aviation Training's new training center and global headquarters in Lake Nona.
SIMCOM is a comprehensive aviation learning center providing advanced aviation training services to professional pilots, owner-operators, charter operators and maintenance personnel operating in the general, business, commercial, military, and cargo aviation markets. The Orlando based company started operations in 1989 with two simulators and six instructors. Today SIMCOM operates 42 simulators across three training centers, two in Orlando and a third in Scottsdale, AZ and employs more than 120 flight instructors.
The new 95,000 square foot flight training center and global headquarters will house up to 12 full-flight simulators representing the most capable and sophisticated aircraft in the business aviation market, including the Gulfstream G650, Bombardier Challenger 350, and Embraer Phenom and Praetor aircraft. Thousands of pilots will travel to Lake Nona each year to complete both initial type and recurrent training.
The event includes a tour of the facility, overview of the project, and Q&A. Mike Young (COO) and Amanda Grass (Customer Relations Manager) will lead the tour.
