Chapter Committees

CREDA has established a committee structure for its members to actively participate in the objectives of the commercial real estate industry. CREDA has refined the goals and objectives for our committees and would like each CREDA member to consider the value of getting involved in one or more of them. Committee participation is a great way to develop working relationships with other commercial real estate professionals while having a positive impact on our industry and the community as a whole.

Annual Partnership

This committee is responsible for reviewing and updating the Annual Chapter Sponsorship package. The committee works with the Chair to secure sponsors for the upcoming year and ensure the sponsors receive the recognition and return on their annual investment. This committee meets in person on the third Thursday of the month at 12:00 pm.

Communications

This committee will lead the creation of NAIOP Central Florida’s new Member Newsletter launching in 2026, as well as help shape other marketing communications throughout the year. If you’d like to get involved, please reach out to our Committee Chair, Emre Selimata.

Government Affairs

This group monitors local and state governmental laws and/or regulatory initiatives that affect the real estate industry and regularly updates the Board and our membership. The Committee is working to identify new meeting times to be scheduled for 2026. Check back for updates!

Programs

This committee helps plan the monthly luncheon topics (Speaker Series), secures top level speakers, plans the Chapter's Up Close events, schedules the Chapter's Project Spotlight tours, and assists in finding sponsors for the luncheons. They also work closely with the Communications committee to actively promote the programs. This committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 12:00 pm at the Colliers office.

This committee is in charge of organizing, planning, and implementing all aspects of the Developing Leaders group. This committee meets the first Tuesday of every month at 8:00am at the Craft & Common.

This committee is responsible for leading and planning the 2026 UCF Real Estate Case Competition that will take place in April of 2026!

Golf Tournament

This committee helps select the course, type of play, theme, and available sponsorships. During planning for the tournament, the Committee meets the last Wednesday of each month. This committee helps plan and solicit sponsorships for the Developers Showcase. The Developers Showcase provides a trade show like platform for Central Florida developers to share new, planned, and existing projects with NAIOP's network of brokers, developers, owners, investors, and associated professionals. This Committee will resume meetings in May of 2026
