POSITION: Research Analyst/Program Coordinator

HOURS: 8:30pm to 5:30pm (Mon. – Fri.)

LOCATION: WBTV, Raycom CBS in Charlotte, NC

TYPE: Full-Time

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Reports directly to the Research & Program Director
Leads station efforts with data analysis, interpretation, and sales application of syndicated research resources including Nielsen, Scarborough, Wide Orbit Media Sales, as well as online resources
Provides custom qualitative support for generic and client specific presentations
Creates sales materials and corporate reporting documents
Coordinates and ensures accurate network, syndication, & local programming for two broadcast television stations
Maintains multiple databases with programming information, and distributes that information to multiple sources internally and externally
Maintains the public file and files quarterly FCC reports
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field required
Analytical thinker, detail oriented, and strong mathematical skills required
2+ years of experience working with qualitative and quantitative research preferred
Proficiency with industry software required: Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint). Wide Orbit Media Sales experience preferred
Broadcast research experience a plus
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance required
