WBT/WLNK Part-Time Event Relations Team Members are committed to providing extraordinary customer service to WBT/WLNK Radio Station Listeners and Event Guests at WBT or WLNK Sanctioned Events. As a representative of WBT and WLNK Radio Stations, the Event Relations Team Member strives to achieve excellence beyond expectation. The Event Relations Team Member enforces a fun atmosphere at all of our events, assists with event issues and takes a proactive approach to improve the listener and event guest experience. Work with full-time staff in implementing promotional and marketing activities for WBT and WLNK Radio, including set-up and tear-down of complete start to finish events and projects. Additional work includes "Holiday On Ice" the only outdoor ice skating rink in Charlotte. This is an entry level position that requires the ability to operate light tools, to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, and to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. Computer skills are necessary. Position pay is $10.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ideal candidate must have flexible hours
Great Attitude, Friendly, personable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have a strong customer service background.
Availability to work events on nights, weekends and holidays, including ALLCarolina Panthers home games.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods of time, walking, and lifting.
Be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
Be a team player who possesses a positive attitude and uses good judgment.
Work with little supervision and is self-motivated.
Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

Greet each guest with a customer service mentality being energetic, courteous, and portray having fun!
Set-up and tear-down of event sets including aluminum trussing, sound system, lighting, and digital electronics.
Promote a family-friendly atmosphere by proactively correcting and/or reporting customer service concerns to a supervisor.
Perform other duties assigned as needed for event position.

*Event Relations Team Members are staffed on an as needed basis.
