FULL-TIME Technical Operator (PRODUCTION) 

WCCB Charlotte (CW) is currently interviewing fora technical operator.  A minimumof (1) year of directing live news, or relevant experience, and a minimumof (2) years of television production experience are required. Candidate must possess strong leadership abilities and work well under high stress deadline conditions. Strong communication skills are necessary. 

Normal shift hours are 1am - 10am Monday-Friday, however, this is a technical utility position that also serves as vacation and sick coverage, so the hours will be flexible determined by the need of management. 

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Master control operations 1am - 4am
• Direct/Technical Direct WOLO morning show from 5am - 7am.
• Direct special events (TV25)
• WCCB audio back-up
• WCCB directing back-up
• MCO back-up
• Studio support 

SECONDARY DUTIES

• Assist traffic department with FTP transfers
• Assist graphics
• Assist promotion department
• Assist with remote production
