Dr. Carolyn Davis is a nationally recognized career development and workforce practitioner with more than 25 years of experience spanning counseling, K–12 education, higher education, government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. As Chief Executive Director of the Institute for Careers and Leadership Development and an NCDA Credentialing Instructor, she prepares career development professionals through advanced training in leadership, coaching, and career development. Throughout her career, Dr. Davis has held executive and leadership roles including Director of Career Services, Manager of College-to-Careers, College Recruitment Manager, Compensation Analyst, and Senior Employer Representative, leading innovative initiatives that strengthen student success, workforce readiness, and institutional effectiveness. She has designed comprehensive career development curricula, launched career centers and employer engagement programs, secured foundation funding, and developed nationally recognized career mobility frameworks. Dr. Davis holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and maintains multiple career development credentials, including Certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Certified Career Services Provider and Instructor (CCSP), and Certified Career Advisor (CCA).
