Creating a Form Buyers of Auctioned Units

Highway 69 Storage - Mary Wiegold

We are looking to create a form that the buyer(s) of our auctioned units will sign should there be any personal/confidential stored records in the unit - those records will be returned to our office for our disposal.

It is not our responsibility to know what is in the unit, however we would like to minimize our liability risk for identity theft.

Any suggestions?

Way to go on being proactive on this type of situation. We need more managers of this sort! I would suggest consulting an attorney of this one unless someone here already has done so and has this kind of form. You want to make sure that you aren't creating more liability for yourself should someone come back and say there were personal/confidential files in there and they weren't turned in. Good Luck and keep us posted on what you decide to do.
