BMS Temporarily Extends Payment Terms in Response to Change Healthcare Cyberattack

We recognize the Change Healthcare cyberattack has had broad impact on patients and providers across the country. Given the Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) commitment to supporting patient access to medications, we are taking action during this difficult time.

BMS will offer an additional 30 days on current payment terms for community practice hematology and oncology purchase orders between March 12 through April 11, 2024. This includes hematology and oncology oral and infused products*.

Extended customer payment terms are subject to Distributor’s commercially reasonable business standards including but not limited to creditworthiness standards licensing requirements, background check, certification that all Products are purchased for the customer’s “own use”, and compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Extended payment terms will be administered through the specialty distributors listed below.

  • Oncology Supply
  • Cardinal Specialty
  • McKesson Specialty


Please note, extended payment terms do not apply to eligible products that are not procured from the specialty distributors noted above.
