The WJOS is excited to announce Robert Sergott, MD will be discussing Ophthalmic Manifestations of Alzheimer's and Optic Neuritis DDX and Tx. Dr. Sergott is the Chief of Neuroophthalmology at Wills Eye.
Prior to the continuing education presentation we are having a dinner meeting sponsored by Mallindrinck Pharmaceuticals discussing Acthar gel. This is an infusion treatment for chronic, symptomatic inflammatory conditions including uveitis, keratits, optic neuritis and autoimmune disorders and typically will have fewer side effects than other steroids. We should all be familiar with this treatment approach.
We will need an RSVP for the dinner so we know what size room to secure so please contact me preferably by email (emelman@gmail.com) at least a week in advance.
