Description

The 15th annual DL Snack Pack Project to benefit Second Story will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2026. The purpose of the project is to provide meals and snacks, in the form of Snack Packs, to the children who participate in Second Story's afterschool programs at the Culmore Teen Center in Falls Church.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Developing Leaders are committed to supporting the important work of this organization. We have set a goal to donate 6500 Snack Packs. In order to achieve this, we need to raise $19,000. Corporate sponsorships and individual donations pay for the food and supplies used to make Snack Packs.

We have the following levels available:

$1000 Gold Sponsor

Volunteer to pack/deliver Snack Packs

It takes lots of hands to assemble 6500 Snack Packs in one day. Please consider registering for one or more hours to help pack and/or deliver the snack packs.

Second Story is a local organization which provides counseling, shelter and neighborhood-based support services for children, youth and families.

Schedule

We need help with packing and with delivery to the Culmore Center.
All Day: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM (includes unloading and delivering Snack Packs to the Culmore Teen Center).

Noon to 2:00 PM
