Billing for CPT 76000 & 77077-Facility Coding

For facility coding: can codes 76000 and 77077 be used together, or are they mutually exclusive; and, are the conventions that apply to 99024 and to the evaluation and management codes the same for facility billing as they are for professional, or not?

If CPT codes 77077 & 76000 are billed on the same claim, the fluoroscopy would be considered a component of the joint survey. If the two radiology services were performed on different areas of the patient’s body, Modifier-59 can be used on CPT 76000 to unbundle the services as long as documentation supports the use of the modifier.
