Correct Billing for J3470

Do you know if there is a replacement code for J3470? National Govt Svcs has denied a claim and when questioned about it, they stated the code is no longer eligible. I cannot locate any information on this. Thank you.

HCPCS code J3470 is a valid drug code for a hyaluronidase injection, and there have been no recent revisions to the code- the information from the customer service representative at NGS is incorrect.

Based on the two denial codes listed, the hyaluronidase was denied by Medicare because the drug is considered inclusive to an injection procedure or another drug billed on the same claim where separate payment is not justified.
