Farm Store Manager

CHS Member Cooperative in Southwestern Montana

CHS Aligned Solutions is working with a progressive agricultural based cooperative in Southwestern Montana to find a Farm Store Manager to join their dynamic team.

This manager will be responsible for directing, promoting, and coordinating the farm store in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share, savings, efficiency, and help achieve its mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

Daily supervision of store staff, including resource planning, hiring, orientation, performance review, training and scheduling.
Establishing and communicating store goals and results to employees, staffing the store and delegating the workload, actively supporting employee growth, and upholding cooperative policies.
Establish store goals with assistance from the retail division manager.
Uphold all cooperative policies.
Assist with the development of annual sales and promotion programs.
Maintaining and reporting all required operational reports to management.
Responsible for providing and promoting the services necessary to meet the store’s goals.

Basic Qualifications:

Farm/ranch experience and a rural background desired.
Degree in agriculture or experience working in a farm store environment.
Supervisory experience.
Experience in tracking budget expenses, and pricing,
Excellent organizational skills, communications skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly, the ability to work well in a team.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
