Last Chance! Register Now for FSR Agronomy College - September 9

A partnership between OABA & OSU Extension

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association and Ohio State Extension will partner to hold the Farm Science Review Agronomy College on Sept. 9. The event is designed to educate agronomists, Certified Crop Advisers, custom applicators and farmers on current agronomy issues.

The full-day event features time with OSU Extension staff and industry professionals in the field at the small agronomy plots and larger demonstration field on the east side of the grounds. Breakout sessions topics include the nitrogen cycle, cover crop management, drones, mixology, crop disease, pesticide safety, and weed identification.

Featured speakers include, from the Ohio State University: Elizabeth Hawkins, Stephanie Karhoff, Jason Hartschuh, Ella Poling, Amanda Douridas, and Betsy Cunningham; from Ohio Corn & Wheat, Tadd Nicholson; from Mercer Landmark, Dan Recker; from Nutrien Ag Solutions, Mike Hacker; and from Heritage Cooperative, Robert Mullen and Dan Griffin.

The event will be held at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London, Ohio. Registration is $120 per participant. CCA and pesticide application credits are also available to those attending.
