The Ohio AgriBusiness Association is hosting three Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshops across Ohio on March 4, 5 and 6 to assist dealers in complying with Ohio Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation and Occupational Safety and Health Administration training requirements for anhydrous ammonia.
OABA’s Anhydrous Ammonia Task Force has planned an educational training program for 2014, which features a hands-on format designed to help participants “learn by doing.” Participants will spend the morning in a classroom setting and then move to a nearby anhydrous facility to apply the information presented in training. Participants will break into smaller, more interactive groups to participate in hands-on, break-out sessions throughout the facility. The training features experts from both outside and within the industry, along with government regulators.
