Description: Learn how to develop inclusive, comprehensive emergency and safety plans that address the needs of all members of your community. This session will explore key elements of emergency preparedness, including evacuation planning, communication and notification strategies, and staff preparation to support people with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Participants will also learn how to effectively share critical information with first responders to enhance preparedness and support coordinated, person-centered responses during emergencies.
This is a remote session that will take place via Zoom. Meeting details will be emailed directly to registrants. All participants must register independently and attend the session live in order to be marked present and receive applicable CPDUs.
