Lora Morrison serves as Director of Communications, leading strategic communications and member engagement efforts for the association. She oversees statewide publications, policy updates, and digital content that support county boards and developmental disabilities professionals across Ohio. She also plays a key role in coordinating major conferences and leadership programs, including event marketing, speaker recruitment, and program development.
Lora brings more than 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, and association leadership, including roles in corporate marketing and nonprofit and trade associations focused on membership growth, revenue development, and large-scale events.
Her work is deeply personal. Lora’s brother has autism and receives services through Hamilton County DD Services, and she is passionate about ensuring people with developmental disabilities have meaningful choices and opportunities in their lives.
Outside of work, Lora enjoys decorating, exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, three children, and friends. She also volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House and with TOPSoccer, a community soccer program for children with disabilities.
