Elizabeth “Liz” Eng serves as a board member for the Greene County Board of DD and is an OACB Trustee representing the South West Region. She is a registered nurse in the Heart Failure Clinic at Miami Valley Hospital and also serves as the Director of Medical Outreach for Best Buddies International. Liz is a passionate advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and is deeply committed to expanding equitable access to quality medical care and meaningful supports.
As the parent of a teenager with developmental disabilities, Liz brings both personal and professional experience to her work. She credits early intervention and school-age services, along with the support of the County Board, for helping her son thrive. Through her role as a trustee, she hopes to strengthen the fiscal sustainability of Ohio’s DD system while advancing inclusive, person-centered medical care and empowering self-advocacy.
Outside of her advocacy and professional work, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and appreciating the beauty of nature.
